Values

Our traditional values are at the core of what we do. We blend the best of modern technology and ways of working with the traditional values that have built our reputation since we were established in 1933. As professional accountants we take a straightforward and upstanding approach to finance; everything we do is fair, lawful and honest and in full accordance with all relevant compliance regulations. Our clients can sleep peacefully at night knowing that their finances, taxes and accounts are being taken care of by trustworthy, qualified professionals who are never tempted to cut corners or bend the rules. We take pride in doing things properly and by the book.

Relationships

It’s important to us that our clients know their finances are being looked after by someone they know and trust.

While we embrace modern technology to ensure our business is conducted as efficiently and quickly as possible, we believe that there is no substitute for building relationships in person.

When new clients come to Rowland Hall they meet with one of our Partners to discuss their business needs and decide how we can help. That Partner then takes full responsibility for the client’s account and is the client’s main point of contact. The client’s assigned Partner then manages the relevant teams (Tax, Accounts, Payroll etc.) to ensure that the work is carried out by the appropriate members of staff, at the most cost-efficient level of qualification and seniority.

Ultimately this means you can rest assured that your accounts are being managed by the best people for the job and that your business is in safe hands. The growing relationship between you and your assigned Partner enables them to understand you and your business so that they can give you the best and most relevant, specific financial advice for your situation.

Our Fees

The work we do for our clients is tailor made to their needs; we don’t have ‘off the shelf’ packages or offer cheap deals. Our fees are therefore bespoke and reflect the level of business support and consultancy that you and your business need. As with everything else we do, our fees are honest, fair and transparent: we charge you for the work we do, and nothing more.

We adapt our services to your business, its size, needs and budget and pride ourselves on offering flexible solutions for cost effective results. Together with their assigned Partner our clients discuss the services required and an estimated charge is agreed. This is based on the hours likely to be worked and the varying levels of seniority and qualification of the team members who will be assigned to each task.

We do everything we can to honour the fee estimate and, in the unlikely event of tasks taking longer than originally thought, will contact you to discuss the most cost effective way of meeting your business needs.
