Richard was educated at Palmers School Grays and after graduation from Bristol University trained with Price Waterhouse in London and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1978 and as a member of the Institute of Taxation in 1980. Having joined Rowland Hall in 1979 he became a partner in 1982.
Richard controls a varied client portfolio ranging from sole traders to professional partnerships and large private companies. Although Richard acts for a very diverse range of clients, he has specialist interests in medical practices, dealing with charities and not for profit organisations and tax planning for family businesses.
Richard is the firms administration partner and is resident at our Thurrock office.
Tony spent ten years in London, followed by a further seven years in local practice, before joining the firm in 1987 as a Manager. Having qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1981, he was admitted to partnership in 1988.
Tony enjoys a mixed portfolio of clients dealing with their diverse accounting, audit and taxation assignments, he also has a keen interest in all aspects of overseas taxation. Tony is responsible within the firm for practice development. Tony is resident at our Castle Point office.
David joined the firm in 1987 and became a Partner in 1988. He handles a mixed portfolio of incorporated and unincorporated clients. Of particular interest are clients in regulated sectors such as Investment Businesses, Charities, Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents.
David is the firms Investment Business Compliance Partner and Staff and Training Partner. David is resident at our Thurrock office.
Having trained within local practice, David qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1995. He joined the firm as Manager at the Castle Point branch in the same year, and was admitted to partnership in 1999.
David deals with a varied portfolio of corporate and personal clients. He also has an interest in proactive tax planning for businesses, and with regulated clients in the financial sector. David is the firms IT Partner, and also responsible for running our sister company Rowland Hall (IT Services) Ltd, covering SAGE training, support and development for our clients. David is resident at our Castle Point Office.
Having graduated from the University of Kent at Canterbury with a degree in Economic and Social History Dean joined the Grays Office of Rowland Hall as a trainee in 1995. He qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant four years later and was formally admitted as a partner in 2003.
Although dealing in numerous areas of public practice, Dean's client portfolio has a bias towards audit and corporate entities, in particular where these involve more complex group structures. His work in this field also gives him regular exposure to Corporate Taxation matters. Dean is the firms technical compliance partner, and works at both our Thurrock and Castle Point offices.
